Membership of this Club, based in the Baltic Exchange at 38 At Mary Axe is open to all Liverymen and Members of Ward Clubs. Rooted in the ancient heart of the maritime and insurance part of the City, the Baltic Exchange not only provides a Club room and library (with coffee facilities and newspapers) but the benefit of the bar and brasserie within the Exchange. The Club runs numerous events during the year with many special interest groups. Membership applications are invited and further details are on their web site.
The Worshipful Company of Engineers is a member of the Parliamentary and Scientific Committee www.scienceinparliament.org.uk. Founded in 1939, it is a major focus for scientific and technological issues providing a liaison between Parliamentarians and scientific bodies, science-based industry and the academic world.
